Hi Chris,

Thank you for your comments. Maybe being confused can be a way of being flexible too. More importantly thank you for the birthday cake/brownie it was a wonderful experience, both receiving and eating it!

I watched the Tokusan-talks in the early morning hours of last Wednesday. It was a lovely day, and the decision to make it my flexible Wednesday was easily made. Then I went swimming. It didn’t take very long until some Bodhisattva started to swim in my lane. He bumped into me, thus showing me how limited my flexibility was. I was too angry to even notice that my plan to stay flexible had not worked for long. Since then, I’ve been trying again and again to cultivate a more flexible attitude. In some sense, being inflexible makes me question my attitude and change strategies. On the other hand, there’s that enormously wide gap between being completely unflexible and noticing it (if I do notice it at all...). It’s really confusing. Thank you for posting this video.
