Thank you Doen. I like the idea of “serious play” and having a Master Game. Though you focus on what these concepts do for a person, I was also thinking about what happens when you do not have serious play and a Master Game. I don’t want by life to just evaporate while I wasn’t even trying or paying attention or being in it! Living with the kind of focus and fluidity that you are talking about sounds like living a life absent regret and with full appreciation for the time you have and the tasks on your plate.
Thank you Doen and Rebecca, Yesterday Austin wanted to have a garage sale with one days notice, it was raining/snowing and I had little sleep the night before. I was really dreading the day and then thought of you saying, “show up 100%”. I did just that and it was a wonderful fun day. It shows me that similar times in the past I resentfully did my duty and everyone is unhappy.
Yes, thank you. For me this is another reminder of how we can interact with spirit, focus and excellence while we travel our “way/s”. Like you Elena, every day is a new lesson in how showing up changes the game – and allows to me work toward mastery.
Given some loss in our community recently, i am also reminded how painful it can be for some not to play, not to show up, not to try to master. I am eternally grateful for this practice.
