Leaving Yerevan... [Explored]

Until you are willing to be confused about what you already know, what you know will never grow bigger, better, or more useful.

Milton Erickson

This is from my point of view so much the heart of the matter and so well put that there is little I can add to it – other than please keep reading this over and over.

Thank you Sensei – a very modern and understandable way to state the importance of Beginner’s Mind and often our resistance to it. I will use this! As always I appreciate your ability to make the dharma relevant to our lives.

Who can see we really know that much about anything?

It encompasses so much: letting go, forgetting self, being fearless and not having to be right. A wonderful goal- not to know. Thank you Doen.

I once had an Literature teacher who at the beginning of every semester would ask an unsuspecting” new student: “What’s your middle Name!” No matter the answer he’s say:”Wrong it’s confusion! Maybe if you accept it you’ll be able to learn something” It effected me deeply- Seems this is the lesson being taught here…
